  this happened about 6 months ago, didn't really have an opportunity to post about it (been busy), but they still haven't given back his password for the phone hook-up.

  they say that this is direction from the "branch office".

  i think it's complete bs, the real reason why they are doing this is to punish me & my family because i am basically a ghost when it comes to meetings & any type of activity.

  VA shooting suspect was raised a JW! He mentions it on his Twitter account

  anyone in the usa following this morning's shooting "on-air" live tv will know what i'm talking about.

  bryce williams (not real name, but on-air name) shot and killed 2 people on live television this morning in roanoke, va. he was wearing a go-pro camera, and uploaded his first-person video onto his social media accounts.

  i've seen his twitter feed (before it was taken down), and not very far down he mentions being raised a jw.

  Kinda old news now. He never blossomed as an actor. He can't get arrested in Hollywood these days. It was good he exposed the evangelist fraud of the day. Now they are even more slick. Sad really. The WT now has their own version of this scam on its site. I refuse to name it.

  Mental illness can be a dangerous thing when not under supervision and control. We have seen this time after time here in the US. They tend to shoot many people if not killing their own. People are too disconnected from their own families to protect against this problem.

  he was the school overseer but they relieved him of that to allow younger elders the privilege of the job.

  now he is depressed and actually shed tears, believing his worth has diminished.

  The school has been dumbed down extensively. Counsel is a joke. The only pain in the ass is the usual cancellation scourge. In that way it still sucks I believe. I understand the feeling of not having assignments. For awhile after I deleted myself it was odd and mostly boring to be at meetings. Being creative with parts kept me going longer than if I hadn't been an elder. Free at last!

  so this afternoon my roommate and i decided to go grab some dinner from the local chipotle and, as we live only a short distance from the franchise, we decided it was a good idea to walk.

  little did i know that the j-dubs district convention here in sacramento was just getting out (the auditorium is literally smack in the middle of downtown and its attendees have to park in garages scattered a couple blocks away in every direction) so men in cheap suits and women in unflattering dress' were walking all over the place as though someone had antagonized their ungodly ant hill.

  and, for sacramento, this of course is the complete opposite of the normative - that is to say, our streets are usually filled with well dressed, immaculately groomed, 'i know exactly where i'm going' government officials that monopolize the state capitol m-f. .

  The "You Can Live Forever In Paradise on Earth" book was the one we used pioneering. I came in on the "Truth" book. I really liked the "United in Worship" book a lot. It was pragmatic and not as doctrinal. Ultimately when they drop a book its because some major thing has been changed and that is where the trouble comes in. I didn't agree with the changes for the most part and it seemed as if it were being dumbed down even more. Now we see its made absolutely moron magnetic!

  I read CoC long ago. Those of you more able to recall the text, I ask: How many doctrines did Ray Franz expose / comment on in Crisis of Conscience have been done away with due to "New Light"? I think it would be interesting to see if Ray called BS on doctrines that were later changed because the Governing Body also realized they were BS. Enlighten me please.
